Deliverers

If you are a veterinary practice or training organisation who would like to deliver training through the Healthy Livestock Project, but have not yet registered with us, please complete the Healthy Livestock registration form and forward to hl@duchy.ac.uk or send to the address at the bottom of the formsIf you require more information or have any questions about this project please contact the Healthy Livestock team on 0845 458 7485.

Please note, you will need to have attended a Deliverer’s Information Event before you can deliver training on the BVD, Johne’s disease or Respiratory strands; these meetings will explain the processes involved in claiming funding and will ensure that the delivery of the project and its aims is consistent across the region. To deliver on the mastitis or lameness* strands, you will need to attend a DairyCo Mastitis Control Plan or DairyCo Healthy Feet training course respectively. Your local Healthy Livestock training co-ordinator will be able to help you to claim the funding after these courses.

*Deliverers who attended Healthy Livestock Lameness Deliverers Information Events prior to the roll-out of the DairyCo Healthy Feet programme, will not have to undergo DairyCo Healthy Feet training to continue to deliver the HL lameness strand.

Forthcoming dates for Deliverer’s Information Events are as follows:

Wednesday 12th June 2013 - Sheep parasite control. Venue: NFU Regional Office, Agricultural House, Pynes Hill, Rydon Lane, Exeter, EX2 5ST.
